Eucharistic Ministers to the Homebound and Sick (EMHS)
|
Our volunteer ministers bring
Communion to those who are unable to come to Mass in-and-around our parish community. Currently, we have ministers serving
in the following placements: The Burien Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, El Dorado Assisted Living, The King County Jail,
Ivy House Adult Family Home, and with the individually homebound.

Hospitality House Women's Shelter
|
Our parish is one of 13
ecumenical faith communities that sponsors and serves Hospitality House. Our meal coordinator and volunteers prepare and serve
simple meals to the shelter’s residents quarterly. We currently have a volunteer board member who keeps us involved
and current on shelter news, planning, and events. Bi-yearly collections for highly needed items are also
a part of our parish stewardship to the shelter. To volunteer as a meal provider, please contact Brendan D’ Ambrosio
at mjbjfamily@msn.com. For more information about the shelter, visit www.hospitalityhousesouthking.org

Burien Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
|
Students from our parish
school provide the residents of Burien Nursing & Rehabilitation with a variety of outreach activities. During
the school year our students might be seen: making cards for the residents, putting on a singing performance, playing games,
or interviewing the residents for a school project.
